Ours Resort: Lakeside Elegance, Reserved for Members
Ours Resort is a beautiful resort owned and operated year-round by UFCW Local 663. The resort consists of six cabins on seven acres of land, with 600 feet of lakeshore giving spectacular views of Lake Superior. It is one of the prime properties on the north side of the lake. Ours Resort is a private resort, therefore it is only available to active, dues-paying members and retired members who are receiving a UFCW Local 663 pension.
We have partnered with Leisure Hotels & Resorts to manage the resort. The Leisure team brings years of hospitality expertise and a strong track record of operating resorts, lodges, and vacation destinations. On the North Shore, they manage Cove Point Lodge and North Shore Camping Co. in Beaver Bay. The team at Cove Point Lodge will assist you before and during your stay.
Staying at Ours Resort
Making Reservations
Ours Resort is a private resort, therefore it is only available to active, dues-paying members and retired members who are receiving a UFCW Local 663 pension.
To make reservations, please call 218-514-4866 and leave a message if necessary. Your call will be returned within 24 hours.
There is a two-night minimum stay.
Note: The member must call in to make the reservation, and must be present at check-in and for the entire duration of the stay at Ours:
- Up to 4 people - 2 bedrooms
- Up to 6 people - 3 bedrooms
- Up to 10 people - 4 bedrooms
Prices are subject to change. Maximum occupancy policies will be enforced by caretakers and UFCW Local 663. Occupancy maximums include infants and small children. Privileges for renting at Ours Resort will be revoked if these rules are not adhered to.
Each cabins is furnished and features the following amenities:
- Fireplace
- Dishes
- Pots/Pans
- Microwave
- Toaster
- Coffee maker
- Bedding
- Soap
- Towels
- Satellite Television
- Blue-ray/DVD player
- Barbeque grill (you provide charcoal)
- Fire pit
- Deck or porch
- Deck chairs
Beginning January 1, 2024, all bookings for All Ours Resort Cabins will be rented out in their entirety, not by room. See rates below:
Payment Information
Payment in full is due within ten (10) calendar days of making the reservation. You may pay with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash/check or money order (payable to MRMC&FH Properties).
Rental Rules and Policies
It is important that members accept responsibility for themselves and their guests to ensure that the resort is left in the same condition it was in when they arrived. Each member is responsible for each cabin that is rented in their name, so make sure your group understands all the cleanup procedures or you could lose your privileges to rent at Ours Resort.
Upon checking in, the member reserving the cabin will receive instructions regarding cleanup and checkout procedures, including:
- Check In Time 4:00 PM and Check Out Time 10:00 AM
- Pick up and dispose of all debris from floors and surrounding area.
- Wash, dry and put away all kitchen dishes and equipment.
- Put all towels and washcloths in the bathtub or shower stall.
- Return all furniture and other items in cabins to their original places.
- Wipe up all spills on all surfaces.
- Pick up any debris left outside of the cabin(s) by your party.
- Outdoor fires are allowed ONLY in the fire pits provided. Firewood can be purchased daily until 6:00 PM from the caretakers for $6.00 per bundle, which includes kindling. This is the ONLY wood that will be allowed to be used in the fire pits.
- Quiet time is from 10:00 PM until 8:00AM. Please be respectful of others.
- Notify the Leisure team of any issues by calling or texting 218-514-4866 as soon as possible.
Each cabin is cleaned after each group leaves. We ask that members and their guests regard the cabin as their own, and leave them in the same condition they were in when they arrived. To maintain the quality and standards of Ours Resort, we DO NOT permit any of the following:
- Smoking in cabins
- Pets
- Tents/Campers/RVs
- Fireworks
- Discharging of any firearms
